Skincare for Babies & Children

From birth the protective layer of a baby’s skin, known as the acid mantle, is not fully developed and therefore has very little natural protection, causing vulnerability to external factors which can then result in dryness, irritation and potential infection. As a baby’s skin produces less sebum, which is the natural oil that keeps skin hydrated and protected, this can result in conditions such as eczema, nappy rash and cradle cap. The development of this acid mantle can take up to 12 years to fully provide a stable healthy skin function.

Sebamed baby range has been dermatologically developed to assist in the maturing of the baby’s acid mantle to build up the protective function of the skin. A healthy skin’s pH level is 5.5 and from birth babies are born with a neutral pH 7.0. Sebamed products have been specially formulated to support the baby's natural development of the skin’s protective layer. Additionally natural ingredients such as chamomile, allantoin and panthenol have been added which help to soothe and moisturise the skin. Sebamed offers a range of products for baby and child care, including a Baby sebamed Bubble Bath for gentle cleansing, a Baby sebamed Shampoo for a ‘no tears’ hair wash, and a sebamed Body Lotion for moisturisation.

8. The maximum reimbursement amount we will refund in the #gotmysebamed monthly competition is £100. If an order is over this threshold, we will refund a total of £100, and no more. If an order is below this threshold, we will refund the exact total of the order placed, including shipping.

SECTION 23 - DELIVERY INFORMATION

We offer free of charge delivery for all orders over £25 placed via this website with a UK delivery address. For orders under £25 delivery is charged at £3.30. You can also pay for express shipping at £3.99 which includes tracking. We do not ship to addresses outside of the UK.

Please note, typically orders placed before 1pm Monday-Friday will be dispatched that day. Orders received after 1pm or on weekends will be dispatched the next working day.

Delivery will take between 2 - 5 working days to UK addresses. If you select express shipping your delivery will arrive within 2 working days (for orders placed after 1pm please add an additional day).
